While by day, the Urban League of Greater Madison’s Black Business Hub will host a range of business services and dozens of businesses will consider it their home base, by night, it turned into a nightclub on Friday, October 6th as the Urban League held its annual Urban Cabaret fundraiser at The Hub.

The evening began with a cigar, wine and whiskey sampler hosted by The Tasting Room and sponsored by the Andersons and the Allens on the rooftop of the Urban League. Hors d’oeurvres were served up as the attendees enjoyed a fine early evening on the rooftop before descending to the first and second floors for the cabaret.

During the rest of the evening, people enjoyed the performances of Lord Yancyy and The Christopher’s Project  with a little magic by Matthew Teague added in as a change of pace.   An array of entrees prepared by Chefs Yusuf Bin-Rella, Oscar Villarreal, James Bloodsaw, and Kingsley Gobourne kept the audience savoring every last bite as they sat back and enjoyed the good life at the Urban Cabaret.
