Business Spotlight: Unique Hair Accessories & More, LLC
by DaiTryanna Mixson
Meet Lakisha Johnson, CEO of Unique Hair Accessories & More, LLC, a Madison-based Black-owned business rooted in tradition, community, and all-natural care.
Inspired by memories of her grandmother creating homemade hair grease in her kitchen, lovingly nicknamed the “stank grease”. Lakisha built her business to honor the wisdom, values, and love passed down through generations. What started as hair accessories has since grown into a full line of all-natural hair and body care products, designed to meet people where they are and cater to their individual needs.
