As I write this column, it appears that all of the Madison area’s educational institutions will be opening this fall as in-person instructional institutions. Our children — all the way through college — will once again be experiencing a normal academic year, interacting with peers and educators as they attain the next level of academic leaning and excellence. Once more, they will be creating positive memories of friends and enjoyment and learning, we hope. Hopefully, they will be having the kinds of experiences that they will look back on with fondness and recount when they meet old friends once again at reunions to relive those innocent years and moments devoid of real responsibility as they evolved into who they are today. -- READ MORE
