The 24/7, 365 day a year Emergency Telephone Service
(ETS) in the Emergency Services Unit (ESU) of the Mental
Health Center of Dane County is seeking qualified
individuals to work staff ETS on a fill-in basis. ETS staff must
be able to respond to inquiries for assistance from callers
with mental health concerns, and be able to provide
both suicide and homicide risk assessments. ETS staff work
collaboratively with the ESU Crisis Intervention staff, who are
always available for consultation.
Working with ETS is an excellent avenue to learning and
maintaining excellent clinical skills. ETS is the backbone of
ESU--often the first point of contact with the mental health
system for individuals who are experiencing a mental health
crisis.
Must be able to work all rotating shifts, and be able to work
weekends, evenings, overnights, and holidays.
Currently were are hiring for the following position:
- Mental Health Technician (40% FTE)
(Appr 16 hrs a week)
