Omega School HSED and GED Graduation
Great Accomplishments

        While most students graduate from high school in four
years, there are some who don’t due to circumstances within
and/or beyond their control. Others must once again reaffirm
their credentials due to relocation or records destruction. In
spite of personal and some societal barriers, many of these
students struggle and succeed to obtain their HSED or GED
with assistance from Omega School.
        On June 17, dozens of graduates received their
certificates from Omega at West High School. Cheered on by
family and friends and encouraged by speakers like Marj
Passman and Rachel Byington, the students expressed their
gratitude to all and basked in the glow of one of the greatest
accomplishments in their lives. It will certainly not be the last.
